The breath is connected, with the inhale and the exhale becoming one flowing cycle, we become one with its true nature in it’s continuous cycle.. like seasons of the year, and even the planets.
Conscious Connected Breathing
With every life experience comes a human thought, then often a choice is made about how we see ourselves, others and the world. These thoughts are usually based on previous experiences, and are often unconscious, and even sometimes pre-verbal and somatic (held in the body). We then find ourselves operating in life unconsciously, playing out healthy and unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
Whereas what we receive through the breath is our own divine spirit, I guess the ultimate guidance, that knows everything and yet is humble enough to know nothing. When we breathe consciously with intention we allow a deeper state of connection within the body that allows us to return to a place of peace and universal connection. We can integrate unhelpful patterns of behaviour and allow the body to release held energy.
The science of breathing stands on ancient foundations. Centuries of wisdom teach us to pay attention to our breath. In all cultures across the globe it’s been used as a healing tool to balance the body and mind, yet western science is only now fully understanding the benefits of breathing fully. It is becoming more mainstream with breath techniques being brought into sport, the military services, the workplace, the national health service, and even into schools. People are becoming more aware of how they are breathing and how it affects their health and wellbeing.
Kerry Veitch uses a simple & gentle conscious breathing technique, so that we can learn to breathe more fully, freely and naturally again. This type of breathwork allows us to heal our relationship with our breath, by allowing the breath to act as a gateway to connect our body, mind and spirit. Conscious Connected Breathwork gives us access to our unconscious mind, and allows us to delve deep to explore our inner world.
The breath is connected, with the inhale and the exhale becoming one flowing cycle, like many things in life they have a cycle, like seasons of the year, and event the planets. By creating a cycle with the breath, we allow unresolved emotions and experiences to complete their own cycle. This is the natural path of healing, something being completed, integrated and resolved, which has been surppressed or frozen in the past.
Unintegrated energy walks around with us, it affects our life decisions, we unconsciously repeat past experiences. But by slowing down, being present to ourselves, and listening to our bodies with all our senses, things begin to surface, pieces of the puzzle are revealed, we are given answers we have been waiting for, sometimes for decades. All in a gentle, natural, safe space. There is a divine energy at work when using the breath, it is powerful and profound, and only works for your highest good. Because guess what, you have all the answers! You know what is best for you! You have incredible intuition and this practise will strengthen that ability.
